Mohamed Salah Extends Statement to Squad, Discloses Curtis Jones
Jones has shared that Salah expressed regret to the team after the fallout from his televised remarks.

The striker was dropped from a vital match following making accusations and suggesting his rapport with Arne Slot had deteriorated.
“Mo is his own man and he can say his own stuff,” the midfielder said. “He said sorry to the group and was like: ‘If I’ve affected anybody, please accept my apology.’”
The head coach has refused to disclose on whether he received a personal apology from the 33-year-old forward.

The player stated that the squad's reaction remained positive. “He was the exact same Mo, his demeanour was positive and it was business as usual,” he continued.
Jones also noted that a player's desire to start is less of an issue. “I get that there are different methods you can handle situations,” he said. “However, if a player is content to just sit out, then I think that’s a bigger problem.”

The team's performance have been impressive in the games following the interview fallout. He feels the outburst were never meant to destabilise the squad.
“If passion has boiled over, the source has been from a good place,” the midfielder stated. “We’re past that now and we’re building chemistry, performing and securing victories.”
